EiE STEM Curriculum

A Five-Step Process
The EiE curriculum was designed to get elementary students involved in real-world problem solving.
It uses 5 simple steps with simple vocabulary to guide students through the Engineering Design Process that a working engineer would actually use.
What is the problem?
How have others approached it? What are your constraints?
What are some solutions?
Brainstorm ideas. Choose the best one.
IMAGINE
Draw a diagram.
Make lists of materials you will need.
ASK
PLAN
Follow your plan and create something.
Test it out!
CREATE
What works? What doesn't? What could work better?
Modify your designs to make it better. Test it out!
